Morocco, a constitutional monarchy influenced by French civil law, Islamic and Jewish traditions, has undergone considerable legal reforms, most notably since the 2011 constitution, which aimed to increase judicial independence and human rights protections. Nonetheless, the monarchy remains a significant political actor, influencing the legal and institutional structure. In recent years, Morocco has acknowledged the importance of adapting its legal framework to the challenges brought by AI and digital transformation. Parliamentary proposals in 2024 and 2025 highlight efforts to establish ethical AI governance entities such as the National Agency for AI Governance, aiming to ensure transparency, data protection, cybersecurity, and accountability. These initiatives align with international norms, including UNESCO's Recommendation on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence and the African Union’s Malabo Convention, reflecting Morocco’s commitment to responsible AI implementation within its broader Digital Morocco 2030 strategy. Education is critical to this national strategy, with programs such as DigiSchool improving digital literacy and AI abilities across several
areas, encouraging equal access, and preparing young for an AI-driven economy. This study uses a systematic literature review methodology to synthesize Morocco's legal reforms, AI policy development, and educational advancement, highlighting shortcomings in institutional ability and legislative
preparation. The findings highlight Morocco's multifaceted approach to merging technical innovation with legal and ethical governance, with the goal of creating a resilient, inclusive digital future that values human rights and promotes long-term development
2025-10-10T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 https://ic.upstegal.ac.id/index.php/icotion/article/view/340 EFL STUDENTS' REFLECTIONS ON CHATGPT WITH AI PROMPT REPOSITORY MANAGER (AIPRM) FOR ACADEMIC WRITING 2026-02-14T09:35:47+07:00 Vidi Nurizki Angkasa vidinurizkiangkasa@gmail.com Yuvita Yuvita yuvieazfa@gmail.com Sumartono Sumartono smart.onpbi@gmail.com
This study aimed to conduct an in-depth exploration of the reflective experiences of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students regarding their use of ChatGPT, augmented with the AI Prompt Repository Manager (AIPRM) extension, as a tool in their academic writing process. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach within a case study design, this research involved ten eighth-semester students from an English Education Program. Data were meticulously collected through open-ended questionnaires and semi-structured interviews, with thematic analysis serving as the primary analytical framework. The findings revealed a complex student reflection on the AI tool's dual role. On one hand, it was embraced as a "helpful assistant," instrumental in overcoming writer's block and boosting confidence. On the other, students viewed it as a "cheating partner," giving rise to ethical concerns and guilt about academic integrity. This conflict was compounded by challenges in creating effective prompts and an autonomy dilemma, caught between the tool's capacity to foster independence and a fear of over-dependency. These findings indicate that students are not passive users but are engaged in a complex negotiation, actively balancing the tool's practical benefits against its profound challenges to their skills, autonomy, and academic values.
2025-10-10T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 https://ic.upstegal.ac.id/index.php/icotion/article/view/342 THE EFFECT OF USING BOARD RACE GAME ON THE STUDENTS’ VOCABULARY MASTERY AT SEVENTH GRADE OF SMP N 19 TEGAL IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2024/2025 2026-02-14T10:01:07+07:00 Sakinah Sakinah sakinahsakin8@gmail.com Sumartono Sumartono smart.onpbi@gmail.com Yulia Nur Ekawati yulianurekawati@upstegal.ac.id
This research aimed to find out the effect of using Board Race Game on the vocabulary mastery at seventh grade students of SMP N 19 Tegal. The implementation of bilingual instruction in speaking classes is essential for supporting students’ oral communication skills, especially in EFL contexts. In the realm of senior high school education, this approach was applied in the speaking classes of the eleventh-grade students at SMAN 3 Brebes. This paper aims to examine the effect of bilingual instruction on students’ speaking skills. The study was conducted through a quasi-experimental research design involving two groups, with a total of 70 students: an experimental group taught using bilingual instruction (Indonesian and English) and a control group taught using conventional monolingual instruction (English only). Pre-tests and post-tests were employed to measure students’ speaking performance. Following the conclusion of the study, several findings were identified as follows: 1) the post-test average score of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group; 2) bilingual instruction proved effective in helping students overcome language barriers; 3) the strategy enhanced students’ motivation and created a more inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
2025-10-10T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 https://ic.upstegal.ac.id/index.php/icotion/article/view/357 THE ROLE OF DIGITAL PAYMENT IN MEDIATING THE EFFECT OF ECOMMERCE TRANSACTION CONVENIENCE ON STUDENTS’ CONSUMPTIVE BEHAVIOR 2026-02-14T18:08:55+07:00 Nizma Laela Maghfiroh nizmalaelamaghfiroh17@gmail.com Neni Hendaryati neni.pefkip@gmail.com Tomi Azami tomiazami@upstegal.ac.id
This study aims to analyze the role of digital payment in mediating the effect of e-commerce transaction convenience on students’ consumptive behavior. The apparent lack of involvement and excitement among students during economics classes at SMA N 1 Balapulang is what inspired this study. The goal of the study is to determine which instructional techniques, particularly in disciplines that are frequently viewed as less appealing, can best stimulate students' interest and drive. Data for this quantitative correlational study was gathered from a sample of 40 students in class XI at SMA N 1 Balapulang using a questionnaire-based survey method. Using proportionate stratified random sampling, the sample was chosen. To investigate the effects of the three independent factors (icebreaking, reward provision, and teacher communication style) on the dependent variable (learning motivation), data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that icebreakers, reward systems, and instructor communication styles all significantly increase students' willingness to learn economics. Furthermore, when examined concurrently, the three factors work together to raise students' motivation for studying. This shows that students' excitement for learning may be significantly increased by a teacher's good communication, regular incentive systems, and interesting classroom activities like icebreakers. The study's scope is restricted to a single school and topic area, which limits how broadly the results can be applied. This research used a descriptive qualitative method. The participants of this research were 30 students in the eleventh grade. The data were narrative texts written by the eleventh-grade students. The results of analysis revealed that 14 students produced three of the four main types of errors—omission, addition, and misformation—while no instances of misordering errors were observed. The most prevalent error type identified was misformation, while misordering was the least frequent. Overall, the findings indicate that although students were generally able to arrange words into proper sentence structures, their main difficulty lay in selecting the correct word forms to fit the grammatical context. This was particularly evident in their application of verb tenses, where many students failed to use the appropriate past tense forms required for narrative writing.
2025-10-10T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 https://ic.upstegal.ac.id/index.php/icotion/article/view/373 THE EFFECTIVENESS OF MULTISENSORY APPROACH ASSISTED BY VISUAL ANIMATION MEDIA AND QR QUIZIZZ ASSESSMENT ON MATHEMATICAL CONCEPTUAL UNDERSTANDING OF STUDENTS WITH DYSCALCULIA 2026-02-24T10:23:18+07:00 Aenun Wahyuningrum Aenun.2025@gmail.com Ibnu Sina Ibnusinaupstegal@gmail.com Dian Nataria Oktaviani dian85nataria@gmail.com
Low conceptual understanding of geometry among students with mild intellectual disabilities remains a challenge in special needs mathematics education.
