https://ic.upstegal.ac.id/index.php/icotion/article/view/211
<p>The 21st century is often referred to as the knowledge age, and each element strives to meet the needs of different knowledge contexts. The education sector has experienced significant impacts due to the changes in the times that require students to master 21st century skills. Learning interest is an important factor because it affects the success of the learning process. The purpose of this study was to evaluate whether the voltaic cell internship method based on a team project using natural and chemical materials can improve learning interest. This study adopted a pre-experimental method with a one-group pre-test post-test design. The pre-experimental method is a method in which the design does not reach the level of a real experiment because there are still external variables that affect the results, the so-called dependent variables. In this research design, the initial test was conducted before the intervention and the final test was conducted afterward. This study shows that students' interest in learning is increasing. This difference can be seen from the paired sample t-test that has been conducted, where the test results for the learning interest variable show a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000, show the impact of the treatment.</p>Teguh Ikhmal BakhtiarPurwo SusongkoM. Aji Fatkhurrohman

https://ic.upstegal.ac.id/index.php/icotion/article/view/224
<p>The aim of this research is to prove the influence of the discovery learning model assisted by Wordwall media on students' skills in mathematical communication. The approach to this research is quantitative with the method used being experimental. The results of the experiment were measured using a mathematical communication ability test. Based on the results of the data analysis carried out with a significance level of 5%, the results obtained were that t count > t table, namely 3.76 > 2.02, So H0 is rejected, which means that the discovery learning model assisted by Wordwall media has an effect on students' mathematical communication skills. However, from the results of the coefficient of determination, the magnitude of the influence given by the model is not greater than the influence given by other variables, where the difference in the magnitude of the influence given is quite large, namely the model gives an influence of 25%, while 75% is influenced by other variables. So the more important thing in efforts to improve students' mathematical communication skills is not the discovery learning model assisted by Wordwall media, but rather how to use this learning model. Educator's skills in teaching greatly influence learning outcomes because if educators have good teaching skills, then educators can provide appropriate treatment for each student's different characteristics.</p>Muhammad Noval KurniawanParidjo ParidjoMunadi MunadiJalaluddin Jalaluddin

https://ic.upstegal.ac.id/index.php/icotion/article/view/228
<p>The purpose of this study is to describe whether the scientific approach in statistics material influences the ability to understand mathematical concepts. This research uses a quantitative method and a Pre-experimental design with a one group Pretest-Posttest model. Thus, pretest and posttest results were obtained within the research design so that experimental results could be compared with pre-experimental results. The research was conducted at SMA Al-Irsyad Kota Tegal. The subjects in this study were 32 students in the experimental class and 32 students in the control class. The data collection technique used pretest and posttest tests. Data analysis techniques were performed by testing the research instrument, analysis testing and hypothesis testing using paired t-test. Based on the research results obtained, it means that there is an influence on the model obtained t_hitung = -6.044, then |t_hitung| = 6.044. Then with the t_tabel distribution table = 2.039. Because |t_hitung| > t_tabel it can be concluded that H_o is rejected.
